Cara Sheahan, LMT✸

My name is Cara (she/her), and I am in service of helping people come home to themselves. Through various bodywork techniques, breath, and presence, my goal is to help you feel at home in your body.

My passion is serving women during the childbearing continuum. This includes preconception work to enhance fertility, bodywork during pregnancy to prepare for labor and birth, and postpartum support to integrate the monumental transformation that has occurred. I believe if all mothers are supported and nourished, the world will begin to heal.

I am also deeply interested in pain management bodywork. When we can allow our nervous systems to rest in a calmed state, we give our bodies the opportunity to heal.

I attended Boulder Massage Therapy Institute, and in addition to the broad range of modalities learned throughout my program, I did a mentorship focused on prenatal massage. I am a certified Abdominal Therapist through the Abdominal Therapy Collective, based on the teachings of Rosita Arvigo.
